Pendle Walking Festival is back for 2019 with 8 days of beautiful walks. You’ll find something for everyone with family-friendly walks, challenging hikes and flat routes.
One of the biggest walking festivals in the country, Pendle Walking Festival is organised by Visit Pendle and Pendle Borough Council, and this year there are 57 walks in 9 days!
We’re hosting a family-friendly walk that is 2.5 miles around the village. Our daughters Maisie and Millie have designed the walk with clues and prizes for the attendees.
On the 12th and 13th August there will be guided walks along The Pendle Way. On Monday 12th August you’ll traverse along Stage 1 from Barrowford to Earby, a 13 mile walk with some hilly sections. The walk will meet in Earby for a coach ride to the start at Pendle Heritage Centre in Barrowford.
On Tuesday 13th August you’ll be completing stage 2, Earby to Caldwell, another 13 miles of some hilly terrain at a brisk pace.
